Scenic Walk

The show follows outdoor woodland paths, so wear comfortable footwear and plan for the autumn weather. The route includes gradients; check the organiser’s accessibility information for your party before booking. Take time to enjoy the displays rather than rushing your evening.

Planning Your Visit in 2026

The Enchanted Forest runs from 8 October to 8 November 2026. Plan your evening alongside your accommodation dates, and read the organiser’s latest visitor information before you travel.

Book Your Tickets in Advance

Choose a date and departure time on the official ticket website. Tickets include return shuttle travel to the forest and must be booked separately from your holiday accommodation. Check both bookings before committing to your trip.

Parking and Transport

For standard tickets, take the event shuttle from the Fishers Hotel in central Pitlochry. Park in the town and allow time to reach departures. There is no general visitor parking or private vehicle access at Faskally Wood. Check the organiser’s parking guide.

Dress for an Outdoor Evening

Bring warm layers, a waterproof jacket and comfortable footwear for the woodland paths. Leave time to enjoy the lights at your own pace, and follow the departure details on your ticket.

Accessibility

The woodland paths have gradients and are suitable for some wheelchair users. Check the organiser’s accessibility guidance for your needs before booking. Limited wheelchair parking requires the dedicated booking option and a pre-booked pass. An Accessibility Bus and autism-friendly sessions are also offered; check the current arrangements and availability on the official ticket page.

Bringing Your Dog

Pet dogs cannot attend the Forest show. The organiser permits assistance dogs under its published conditions. Check the official FAQs before travelling with a dog.

Make a Day of It

Enjoy Pitlochry’s shops and cafés before your evening visit, then return to your lodge or cottage for a relaxed night in. Search our current accommodation availability to plan your autumn break.
